What began in 2012 as a practical step for a duathlon—just a leg of running, cycling, and running—turned out to be the spark for a lifelong obsession with the open road.

By 2013, a first road bike had arrived, opening the door to the world of triathlons and long-distance brevet rides. Pushing through 200 and 300-kilometer endurance rides redefined what was possible. Upgrading to a time-trial bike in 2015, the dream expanded to Spain, crossing the finish line of a full Ironman. Two years and two Ironman finishes later came the ultimate invitation: the Ultraman triathlon, demanding an incredible 421-kilometer effort on the saddle.

"The finish line begins with the courage to start."

Through every milestone, cycling evolved from a training regimen into a way of being. Rain or shine, off-season or race prep, the rhythm remained unbroken: twice a week, balancing short power rides with grueling 70-to-160-kilometer journeys.

Among all the roads traveled, a special chapter unfolded in Raipur in 2019. For four months, the open, exposed stretches of New Raipur provided the perfect training ground. The relentless headwind wasn't an obstacle; it was a teacher. Paired with a warm, welcoming local cycling community, those wind-swept miles built raw strength. The payoff arrived later that year in Sweden, where years of hard work culminated in a personal best time.

Now, nearly fifteen years into the journey—marked by hard-earned cuts, bruises, and falls—the passion burns brighter than ever. With a road bike, a time-trial bike, and eyes set on tackling brutal mountain courses with 6,000 meters of elevation, the road ahead is as exciting as the miles behind. Raipur, its people, and the endless pursuit of the next horizon remain permanently etched in the heart of every pedal stroke.
